In an effort to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure to our client partners and ourselves, we have implemented the following procedures for all CSI Consultants entering all facilities.
As a key service provider, we want you to be aware of our procedures to ensure your organization’s safety and the safety of our consultants.
We based our procedure on the National Safety Council’s SAFER – Safe Actions for Employee Returns – Return to Work Guidelines and from the documentation we received from our clients and partners in business.
Guidelines:
- Upon entering a facility each day, the CSI Consultant will provide the client a CSI 24 Disclosure form confirming and acknowledging the following are true.
- I am not ill. I have not had a fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, cough, shortness of breath, or other respiratory problems, sore throat, new loss of sense of smell or taste, or headache, within the past 10 days.
- I have not been in close contact with anyone who has a probable or confirmed case of COVID-19 or is awaiting results of a COVID-19 test within the past 14 days.
- I have not cared for someone who has a probable or confirmed case of COVID-19 or is awaiting results of a COVID-19 test within the past 14 days.
- I have not tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days.
- If I have been diagnosed with COVID-19, I have been symptom-free without fever reducing medication for at least 72 hours and at least 10 days have passed since the onset of my illness.
- If within 14 days from now I develop any of the above symptoms or receive a confirmation that I am COVID-19 positive, I will promptly inform, via phone call or email, my contact at the site.
Additionally, if any location requires health screening, we will participate fully in the screening prior to entry into the facility. If for any reason we do not pass the screening, we will not visit the site again for 14 days.
Safe distancing
- For meetings we organize or attend, we will help the site assess the space to determine the maximum capacity possible when occupants maintain the advised distance from each other (e.g., divide square footage by 36 for 6 feet physical distancing occupancy capacity); then monitor the number of people occupying that space while we are part of the meeting or event to ensure the maximum is not exceeded
- For new processes, procedures, policies and products we recommend or help implement we will work with the site to conduct a risk assessment/analysis of all and suggest inventory, procure and policy to store Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed based on worker risk exposure
- For new work operations, employee circulation, and other physical distancing plans we help initiate we will help evaluate the needs to ensure feasibility for safe social distancing.
- We will adhere to all training, safety and health protections, including using any provided PPE properly and dispose if it properly.
- We will arrange our workspace provided for appropriate physical distancing between desks/chairs/conference table any time we are in the office environment.
- We will practice physical distancing while taking any transportation to and from the work site.
Travel
- Drive alone in a personal car when the distance makes it possible.
- Eat take out
- Sanitize the hotel room when first arriving
- Avoid using the hotel gym, pool, or shared office space
